Abstract

This introductory text marks the launch of Resonancias Catequéticas, an Aragonese journal of catechetics associated with the Regional Centre for Theological Studies of Aragon (CRETA), following its affiliation with the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of Salamanca and the establishment of a Licentiate programme in Catechetical Theology. Drawing on the meaning of “resonance” and its etymological relationship with catechesis, the text outlines the identity and mission of the new journal as a forum for theological reflection, research, and service to the Church. Inspired by the orientations of Evangelii gaudium and Veritatis gaudium, the journal seeks to contribute to the pastoral and missionary renewal of catechesis by fostering dialogue between the Word of God and contemporary realities. The presentation emphasizes the need for a missionary Church attentive to the challenges of society and committed to a meaningful, transformative, and evangelizing transmission of faith.
